Smartisan U2 Pro (also known as Smartisan Nut Pro, Smartisan JianGuo Pro); (Chinese: 锤子坚果Pro; Pinyin: chuízǐ jiānguǒ Pro) - a smartphone released in 2017 by Smartisan Technology Co., Ltd.
Materials and design
It was available in 5 colors: Carbon Black, Wine Red, Chocolate, Light Gold and Thin Red Line Special Edition.
The back is made of glass and plastic.
The front is covered with Gorilla Glass 3 with an aluminum bar at the bottom which contains the home button and is connected to the aluminum frame.
History
The Smartisan U2 Pro was introduced by Luo Yonghao at a 7:30 PM, May 9, 2017 conference in Shenzhen.
Software
The U2 Pro launched with Smartisan OS 3.6 and got updated up to 6.7.4.3. It runs Android 7.1 and never got a version update of the base Android system, only security patches.
This phone doesn't use on-screen navigation keys while containing only one hardware navigation button. Touching it is assigned to back, pressing it to home and double pressing to recents. Holding it invokes recording an Idea Pill but it can be changed in settings. The home button also contains a fingerprint sensor.
